The movies he worked as Sound Designer and Mixer featured at Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Montreal, Toronto, Karlovy Vary, Sarajevo, SXSW, and Sitges International Film Festivals, as well as he contributed to several Netflix and HBO projects.

Eli Haligua was born and raised in Istanbul, a city that connects Asia to Europe. He is also passionate about connecting the motion picture world with sound and enhancing your story.
His sound career started at an independent radio station in Istanbul, working on numerous radio shows and radio documentaries in partnership with teams from France, Sweden, Germany, and Iran. After six years in broadcast, he switched his focus to the motion picture industry, with forays in ads, music, theatre, and video games. In the last decade, he has collaborated on 100+ films, commercials, video games, a few music productions and a theatre play, Anywhere But Here, written by Carmen Aguirre and Raps created with Shad Kabango.
Eli provides full services in the essential aspects of audio post-production for premium sound design studios and sound supervisors in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Türkiye. He is co-founder of Early Reflections, an audio post-production company mainly active in Türkiye's film industry. He also works as a Re-Recording Mixer/Sound Editor for Vaudeville Sound, Sound Effects Editor for The Mix Room and KOKO Productions. Furthermore, he is on board at Azur Studios as a Sound Designer and Re-Recording Mixer.
Eli holds a Diploma in Sound Engineering from SAE Sound Engineering School and a Master's Degree in Sound Technologies from Bahcesehir University. In 2019, he completed a diploma in Digital Music Production in Vancouver at Langara College, adding music production to his professional quiver.
Besides his sound experience, he has been part of grassroots organizations and human rights advocacy groups for over a decade. He is the co-founder of -Avlaremoz, which combats anti-Semitism and discrimination against minority groups in Türkiye. Many of his articles have been published in various media platforms. He has been volunteering with the VPA as a Board of Directors and co-chairing the D&I Committee there.
